Surely you can detect a possible gas leak by just smelling it, but did you know you can detect where the gas leak is with just soapy water and a spray bottle 🤯 If you spray the suspected area and it starts forming bubbles on the surface, then you my friend have found the gas leak. (See last slide!) NEVER delay a gas detection and repair as it will eventually cause more/ major problems down the road. Not only can it possibly make your house go KABOOM but not fixing your gas leak could also cause health problems – even long term health problems depending on the severity of the gas leak. Please NEVER ever try to repair gas leaks on your own, ALWAYS call a licenced professional to do so. GAS LEAK!! Received a call from a customer stating they can smell gas whenever they are in the lounge room, especially on windy days and were eager to get this issue resolved. We arrived onsite and discovered the leak straight away and got to work. The faulty gas ball valve and the copper pipe work were replaced as this was the root cause of the leak. Our client was extremely pleased to have this problem fixed on the same day as this has been an ongoing problem for a few months for her and her young family. URGENT BURST PIPE 🚨 Client reported that there was a leak in their front yard causing it to cause minor flooding. Tried fixing it themselves but ended up making matters worse. The team at GWS Plumbing were able to fix the problem whilst onsite. The copper was most likely damaged when it was first installed and it was only a matter of time before it cracked.
